TMNT Funko Soda Cans Unboxing
Previously at Action Pak’d we checked out the Leonardo Funko Soda figure and today we have two more from the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Funko Pop! Soda are a alternate line of toys by Funko that come inside of a collectors “soda can.” Today we are un-canning(?) both Michelangelo and Shredder with the previous Leo – let’s take a look at all 3.
- Funko Pop! Soda Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Introducing for the first-time ever our newest form factor: Vinyl SODA. Included with each purchase is a “POG“-shaped collector’s card and a 4.25” vinyl figure all nicely packaged inside a collectible SODA can.
- New Funko Pop soda exclusives! Each figure comes packaged in a soda can.
- Limited edition, only 12500 made.
- All figures have a 1:6 chance to be a chase figure. Chase is random and not indicated on the outside of the can!
Each can is limited to a certain number with most ranging from 7000-10,000 pieces. Randomly inserted are chase versions of the figures which glow in the dark/have a alternate costume and are in shorter supply. Simply twist off the soda can top and out comes the figure. This line from Funko has expanded over the last few months across multiple genres – cartoons, film, and more.
The cans are made from thin metal and have the feel of an actual soda can. The figures are made from rubber/vinyl and are solid with no articulation – similar to Funko Pops. Out of the 3 I was lucky to get one chase -the Leonardo – which glows in the dark and is limited to only 2000 pieces. The other two are limited to 10,500 pieces each.
Overall a great little set for any TMNT fan with soon to be released Raphael on the way. Cowabunga!
