By Unboxing: Diamond Select Marvel Gallery Thor
I am back with yet another superhero unboxing & today’s piece comes from the Asgardian God of Thunder himself. Let’s check out the Diamond Select Marvel Gallery ‘The Mighty Thor’ statue.
The box design is quite nice with lightening bolts and a deep blue theme around the box. The front shows the item in a front facing view with a vintage style Thor logo. The clear windows on each side are a nice touch showing the contents inside which most like to call window box packaging for those in-box collectors who want to display it as such.
The back of the box has some info on the character and shows what we can expect inside. Diamond Select has released a few Thor statues, this one depicting him in a more classic attire and look.

The statue itself has a pretty good level of detail and is quite well made for a piece at this price point (at the time I purchased it was $50). I really like this classic style look of Thor and the lighting strips coming out hammer is a nice touch.

8 Inches Tall: Measuring approximately 8 inches tall, this sculpture of Thor is in scale to all other Gallery and Femme Fatales figures.
Overall this is a great piece for Thor fans and one that comes at a decent price at the sub $100 point. The overall build, design, and paint job make it a great value for cost and another nice addition from Marvel Gallery & Diamond Select.
