Unboxing: Hot Toys BvS: Dawn of Justice Batman SE

Action Pak’d is back with another Hot Toys unboxing and this time we take a look at the caped crusader himself, Batman. Today’s unboxing is of the Hot Toys Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice Batman Special Edition figure. The names just keep getting longer. Let’s not waste any time and get right to it!
As you can see the figure comes with a large mix of accessories, all detailed below, which includes batarangs, hands, weapons and more.
The 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure’s special features:
– Authentic and detailed likeness of Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
– One (1) Batman head with three (3) interchangeable eye pieces and three (3) interchangeable lower part of faces capturing Ben Affleck’s facial expressions
– Approximately 32 cm tall
– Newly developed muscular body with over 30 points of articulation which can naturally portray Batman’s muscular body in the film
– Eight (8) pieces of interchangeable gloved palms including:
– One (1) pair of fists
– One (1) pair of relaxed palms

For head sculpts we have a few different options to change the exposed mouth area as well as the eyes behind the mask. Though the mask is always on we can clearly see this has been modeled after Batfleck and done quite well I must say.

Now let’s get right into some full body and action shots since that is what you all are here for.
As with all Hot Toys the articulation is great with over 30 points though one thing to keep in mind is that posing the figure in a certain position for extended periods can lead to loosening or creasing of the outfit. This is common amongst Hot Toys so always a good idea to change up the pose every now and then if you have this on display.
Here you can see him set up with a altered mouth version for a more gritty and intense look – or just a pi**ed off bat. This guy means business.
Here he is set up with some weapons & some action shots of the man in black. Swapping out the hand with the “holding” hand grips the weapon nicely with a tight fit.

Here’s a side profile, great details all around.

Let’s check him out with some of the other weapons and accessories included and swap out the face piece again for a more sinister look.

The set also comes with multiple Batarangs with are quite solid and have sharp points.

Overall another fantastic figure from Hot Toys for any fan of the Bat. Solid build, great articulation and a nice set of accessories make this a great piece to add to the collection.
