By Unboxing: Neca Super Shredder
When Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 the movie hit theaters back in 1991 we were introduced to a new type of super villain. I am talking about the ominous Super Shredder. The Super Shredder is a mutated, empowered version of the Shredder. He made his first appearance in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze and was even the final boss in some of the video games. So when Neca announced the release of a Super Shredder figure to go along with their recent TMNT line, turtle fans like myself were excited.
This will be a quick unboxing but I will say this figure is quite nice. It’s form factor stands tall above the other Neca turtles, fitting in with proper scale. The details are in the similar cartoon fashion and closely resemble the character. Articulation, as with most Neca figures, can be a bit stiff but once you get the joints moving there is a good amount to work with. The figure comes with a few accessories including extra hands, his weapon, and a nice addition of TGRI ooze canister. Let’s get to more pics below!
